Perfect, now you have your own van. Congratulations! Time to convert it into your own camper van.
The first step is measuring the exact internal dimensions of your van.
Once you know these, you can start arranging your interior with the exact measurements. You can either draw this with just a pen and paper or you can use different computer programs such as Adobe Illustrator or even Microsoft Paint.
Your floor plan should not only include all the furniture, but also more for the practical matters such as electricity (sockets, light switches, speakers…) and water systems (clear and grey water tanks, hoses…).
When drawing, make sure you know the exact dimensions of all facilities you want to place in your van, for example a fridge, a shower, gas tanks, … so your cabinets will be big enough, your bed high enough, and so on.
Also make sure you have some storage space left for your personal belongings while traveling.
