Orders complete? Did the shopping? Time for action.
Open up your doors and empty the entire cargo area, including wall and floor panels. Throw away everything you no longer need but keep the wall and floor panels. You can use them as a mold for your new paneling. As soon as the cargo area is completely stripped, it’s time for a big clean.
Sweep, scrub and wipe all surfaces with an all-purpose cleaner and make sure everything is grease- and dirt proof.
When everything is clean, you can see clearly if your van has any rust stains. If so, you best sand the stains with sandpaper and treat them with an anti-rust agent. We used hammerite, it’s easy to find in every hardware store. Make sure it is fully dry before you apply a next layer, paint or insulation.
Note: Before you remove the bulkhead, make sure it is allowed according your country’s legislation.
