If you prefer fewer crowds and milder weather, then spring (March to May) and fall (September to November) are excellent times to visit. During these seasons, temperatures are usually comfortable, and you can enjoy beautiful scenery, as the countryside is green and lush.
Winter (December to February) in Portugal can be rainy and chilly, particularly in the northern part of the country. However, if you’re looking to escape the cold and enjoy some winter sun, the southern Algarve region can be an excellent choice, with mild temperatures and fewer crowds.
