Our Review
Most of the times, our ASUS monitor is connected to a 15″ Windows laptop with an advanced graphics card, so we can fully enjoy every pixel on the 4K 27″ screen. However, we also have a MacBook on which this screen works just as well. We chose 27 inches because the screen is fairly close to us on our desk and we still want to keep a good overview of everything we do.
The 4K resolution of the ProArt Display PA279CRV ensures that every detail is crisp and clear.
Color Accuracy
One of the most impressive features of the ProArt Display PA279CRV is its incredible color accuracy. With a 27-inch 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) panel and 100% sRGB and 100% Rec. 709 color gamut, this monitor delivers breathtaking images with vibrant and accurate colors. It comes pre-calibrated and is Calman Verified, ensuring perfect color accuracy right out of the box. We find this extremely important because we like to give beautiful colors but also nice contrast to our edits. This way, the places we describe in our blog posts come into their own. We can also maintain our own unique style in editing by always being able to use the same color patterns.
Because the monitor has an IPS panel, you have an excellent view from every angle and the colors remain true. We think this is a great feature because the two of us often sit next to each other at our desk and we both see exactly the same colors, no matter where the other person is seated in relation to the screen.
