Mannen hike, a complete guide

Mannen hike

You start hiking from the parking lot at Haukland Beach. From here, you cross the street, keeping Mannen on your left, and start walking on the paved road on the other side of the street. After around 500 meters, you will see a clear path on your left side, winding up the hill to the ridge of Mannen, together with some power lines. This is the path you follow up to the Mannen ridge.

As soon as you make it to the top of the winding trail, you go left towards the summit of Mannen. From here, you just keep following the ridge. There are some big rocks on the trail where you will have to take a big step to get on, but nothing too hard. The trail isn’t always very clear but you just have to keep going uphill and follow the ridge until you reach the top of Mannen. You can enjoy some stunning views of Haukland Beach, Vik Beach and Uttakleiv Beach before heading down the same way again.
