1. Seaweed farms
The seaweed farms on Nusa Lembongan are a beautiful sight, watching the activity of the seaweed farmers. The local residents cultivate marine algae along the shoreline. At low tide, you can see them engaging in their daily routine of planting, harvesting, and drying the seaweed. When the seaweed is dried, it is used in different products, such as cosmetics and food.
You can see the seaweed farms just from the shoreline, or you can have a smoothie while watching the seaweed farmers taking care of their seaweed farms.

3. Mangrove Forest
On the northeast corner of Nusa Lembongan, you find a large mangrove forest. You can either explore this forest on a Mangrove Tour in a traditional jukung boat or you can paddle yourself on a SUP. In the mangrove, you can spot many different wildlife species, such as different kinds of birds and fish. It is one of the most popular activities and best things to do on Nusa Lembongan!
4. Devil's Tear
Devil’s Tear is one of the most famous places in Nusa Lembongan. It is a blowhole, where you can experience the immense power of the ocean. You can see the waves crashing against the cliffs, causing the water to splash meters high. Always be careful here and don’t go too close to the edge.
5. Snorkel or dive with mantas
Nusa Lembongan is home to a beautiful underwater world, perfect for snorkeling and/or diving. Close by Nusa Lembongan and Ceningan are various snorkeling and diving spots where you have a good chance to swim with manta rays, mola-mola fish, and dolphins. The size of the average manta ray here is 3 to 3,5 meters, which is huge! On the islands and online, you will find numerous companies that offer swimming, snorkeling, and diving with manta rays.

6. Cross the Yellow Bridge
Nusa Lembongan is connected to Nusa Ceningan with the iconic yellow bridge, or ‘love bridge’. This makes it very easy to visit these islands together or take a day trip from one island to the other. The bridge is only just wide enough for 2 scooters to cross, so you won’t see cars driving over it. Of course, you can also just cross the bridge on foot if you’re up for a walk on the islands. It is both a practical facility and a very photogenic landmark!

7. Blue Lagoon
One of the most famous places on Nusa Ceningan is the Blue Lagoon. It is a beautiful viewpoint from which you can admire the clear, turquoise-blue waters from the cliffs. We heard that it is also a cliff-jumping spot here. Yet you have to be careful here because of the changing conditions of the water. Nevertheless, it is also a must-visit spot for people who are not that much into adrenaline because of the beautiful color palette and views that you can see here.

8. Cliff jump from Mahana Point
Mahana Point is a lovely place with a restaurant and bar where you can hang out, enjoy a stunning sunset, and participate in different activities. They offer surfboard rentals, and it is the ideal place for cliff jumping. They have both a 10m and a 5m platform from where you can jump into the ocean and a ladder to get out again easily. To use these facilities, they charge for each jump. The 10m jump costs around 50.000 IDR, and the 5m jump comes at 25,000 IDR.

9. Go surfing
Nusa Lembongan is the ideal place for surfing all year round for surfers of almost every level, especially beginners! You can take surfing lessons at various places or rent a surfboard at, for example, Mahana Point.

10. Take a daytrip to Nusa Penida
From Nusa Lembongan, it is only a 15-minute boat ride to Nusa Penida. Ideal to discover the third Nusa island! You can book a complete Nusa Penida tour or explore the highlights, such as Kelingking Beach and Angel’s Billabong, by hiring a private driver or scooter.

It is possible to see Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan in just one day, for example, as a day trip from Nusa Penida. However, if you have the time, we recommend that you stay for at least 2 days.
