About the Lemukih waterslide
The Lemukih waterslide is located in the Lemukih Village in the north of Bali, on the plateau above the famous Sekumpul and Fiji Waterfall. It is a natural waterslide of around 45 meters long with multiple sections to slide down the rocks along with the water. Every few meters, you will drop into a small natural pool. The waterslide is located admits beautiful rice fields and lush jungle. Near the waterslide, there’s also a section where you can cliff jump into the water. It is an fun and off the beaten path experience to slide down the rocks on a rubber tire and, at the same time, an awesome way to cool down from the hot and humid Bali weather.

How to get there
The best way to get to the Lemukih Waterslide is by scooter or by car. If you’re not confident about driving yourself, you can also hire a car with private driver.
To get to the Lemukih waterslide, you can navigate to ‘Water Slide Lemukih‘ on Google Maps. By car and by scooter, it’ll navigate you automatically to ‘Pesona Lemukih information center‘, because Google Maps doesn’t know you can drive all the way down to the waterslide with a scooter. Do not go to or stop any of the ‘tourist information centers’ along the way, as they will try to sell you a tour with guide you don’t need. Just keep driving and following your navigation.
At the end pin on Google Maps, you will find a small street with the sign ‘Welcome to Fiji & Gerombong Waterfall”, as you can see in the picture, and drive into this street. After a few meters, you will see the car parking lot on your left side.
A little further after the car parking lot, the street splits into two narrower paths where you can only continue with a scooter or by foot. Here, you go left.
At the next intersection you drive straight ahead.
Keep going until the road splits again. Here, you follow the signpost to the waterfall again to the left.
After a few hundred meters, you will cross a small bridge and here, you must continue to follow the road that bends to the right.
Keep going until the next small bridge and junction, where you keep right. The path becomes narrower here with more vegetation along the sides and you drive along a slope, so be careful when you’re driving the scooter.
At the next junction, you find another signpost. Here, you can choose to either continue the the waterslide to the left, or you can turn right towards the rice field trek and the cliff jump.
At the last junction, keep left and go uphill. This path takes you past beautiful views over the rice fields and over one more final bridge. Continue to follow this narrow path until you finally arrive at the scooter parking lot.
From here, it is only a short 5-minute walk, following the signpost, until you reach the waterslide.

Do I need a guide to get to the waterslide
No, you do not need a guide to get to the Lemukih waterslide as long as you follow the ‘main path’ or the above directions.
At the Pesona Lemukih Information Center, they will say you need to get some information first and then claim you need a guide to get to the waterslide, which is not true. Just ignore them and continue your way into the small street to the car parking lot.
As you can see above, the way to the waterslide can sometimes be a bit tricky. So, if you feel more confident with a guide, you can of course always take one. If you don’t feel confident driving the scooter all the way to the waterslide and don’t want to walk the whole way, they can also transport you with a scooter as well. But always negotiate the price, as there initial price will probably be way too high.

Things to know before you go
Water temperature
Don't expect pleasantly warm water. The water is refreshing, very refreshing and maybe even cold.
Swimwear
Don't wear your best swimwear. You slide down on a rubber band, but your bottom still touches the rocks. A bruise here and there may occasionally occur.
What to bring
Don't forget to bring a towel and sunscreen!
Water shoes
They provide you with water shoes or you can bring your own. We recommend you to wear them to protect your toes along the way, to get out of the water again and walk back up the hill to slide again.
Safety
Hold the band by the ribbon provided for it. If you hold the rubber band yourself, with your fingers underneath it, you could hurt your fingers.
Nearby things to do
You can combine a visit to the Lemukih Waterslide with a visit to the famous Sekumpul and Fiji Waterfall.
Eating and drinking opportunities
There's a warung at the Lemukih waterslide from the family who runs the waterslide.
