Overview
Rent a camper and go to Lofoten in Norway
Winter or summer, you can choose here! We thought the south of Norway was beautiful, but if you drive further to these islands you will be blown away by the purity of nature. Winter features beautiful white mountains and incredibly beautiful northern lights, the combination of the white mountains and the green/blue light spectacle is truly magical! However, you will have to be able to withstand the cold because the temperatures mainly remain below minus.

Summer will amaze you with the most beautiful walks to the many mountain peaks in Lofoten. It is a unique landscape that we were able to discover with our camper and we would recommend it to everyone. There are also fun activities you can do! For example, you can go on a whale-watching tour at sea. If you’re lucky you might even see Orcas!
The best time to visit the Lofoten Islands is the end of August, then you avoid the summer crowds and it gets dark again after the mid-summer nights. From September onwards the Northern Lights activity also increases.

Go on a road trip through Namibia

Go on a road trip through versatile Namibia with a 4×4 and roof tent. Discover what the country has to offer in terms of nature and culture. Sleep at one of the world’s most beautiful campsites in the unique Spitzkoppe, where you can hike during the day and treat yourself to the most beautiful starry sky with a clear Milky Way at night.
When you think of Africa, you automatically think of animals. You will undoubtedly see them on this road trip! In Etosha National Park you can go on a safari and choose to drive yourself, or be driven, by the lions and elephants.

With “Deadvlei” and the dunes of Sossusvlei it certainly has an extra asset to be included in this list. But also drive along the coastline where the largest seal colony in the world is located or you can visit the cozy Swakopmund.
You can hear it already, Namibia is a country that should definitely not be missing from your bucket list for 2025!
The overall best time to visit Namibia is from May to October. During these winter months, you can expect more cool and pleasant temperatures and less rain as this period is dry season. It is also the best time for seeing wildlife, as there’s less vegetation so you’ll have better visibility.
