Tip: Don’t forget to bring your swimwear, because at many of these waterfalls, you can take a refreshing dip in the water. It’s also best to bring or wear sturdy shoes, as you will often have to do a lot of stairs and steep paths.
1. Leke Leke Waterfall
The Leke Leke waterfall is a picture-perfect waterfall, surrounded by a lush green forest and colorful flowers in the middle of Bali. The hike down is easy to moderate and takes around 15 minutes. After your welcome drink at the entrance, you can follow a well-maintained path with concrete steps, some sandy parts, and a few bamboo bridges. Its powerful stream amidst the beautiful greenery makes it a real dream for photographers.
Until recently, this waterfall was still fairly ‘unknown’. but we have the feeling that it is growing in popularity. A good reason to visit it as soon as possible!
Practical
Entrance fee: 50.000 IDR
Daily: 7.00 am - 5.00 pm

2. Nungnung waterfall
The second waterfall on this list is definitely one of our favorite Bali waterfalls. The Nungnung waterfall is one of the tallest and most powerful falls in Bali. It is a 50-meter-high waterfall, located in a green jungle gorge. To get to the bottom of the waterfall, you have to descend about 500 steps. Keep in mind that you will have to ascend these again afterward. It’s a tough journey, but it’s definitely worth it. Read more about how to visit this waterfall in our Nungnung Waterfall guide!
Practical
Entrance: 20.000 IDR
Parking: 5000 IDR
Officially, the opening hours are daily from 9am - 4pm. However there are no gates, so we guess you can visit the waterfall 24/7.

Flight Delayed?
No problem! Airhelp will determine with and for you whether you will receive compensation or not. This completely free of charge!
3. Gitgit Waterfall
The Gitgit Waterfall is, just like the Nungnung Waterfall, one of the highest in Bali and a very impressive one. At this 48 meter high waterfall, you find a small Bali gate that gives you access to the cascading water, adding an extra unique feature to it.
To reach this waterfall, you have to follow a path that is lined with little souvenir shops. Some sellers were quite pushy, which made the experience a little less pleasant. But the waterfall itself makes it more than worth it! You find more information on the Gitgit waterfall in our guide.
Practical
Entrance: 20.000 IDR
Parking: 5.000 IDR
Daily: 8.00 am - 5.00 pm

4. Sekumpul and Fiji Waterfall
The Sekumpul and Fiji waterfall are two impressive waterfalls in the north of Bali, which you can visit together during one trek. And there’s actually a third one as well, called the Hidden Waterfall. They are all close to each other, and there are a number of different ways to visit them.

You can, for example, choose to only view the Sekumpul and Fiji waterfall from a viewpoint above. You can also go on a trek to Sekumpul and Hidden waterfall, or all three waterfalls. We have a complete guide about visiting Fiji and Sekumpul Waterfall with all the information you need!
Practical
- Viewpoint only: 20.000 IDR per person
- Medium trekking (Sekumpul and Hidden waterfall): 150.000 IDR per person
- Long trekking (all three): 250.000 IDR per person
It is mandatory to go with a guide, hence the high prices. Be aware of scammers that charge even more! They'll try to stop you before the official entrance, claiming that you have to register first.
Daily: 8.00 am - 5.00 pm

5. Tibumana waterfall
The Tibumana Waterfall is a beautiful and secluded waterfall, that falls straight down into the pool below, where you can take a refreshing dip. It is not only the beautiful waterfall that makes this place worth a visit, but also the stunning road to get there.
This lovely, narrow palm tree-lined road leads you through the lush green rice fields to the entrance of the waterfall. In the light of the rising sun, this place becomes even more magical. It is a very popular waterfall in the Ubud region, so try to visit as early as possible!
Practical
Entrance: 20.000 IDR
Parking: 5000 IDR
Daily: 7.00 am - 6.00 pm

6. Banyumala Twin waterfall
The Banyumala Twin Waterfall is a beautiful waterfall in the Wanagiri region in north Bali. As its name suggests, it is actually two waterfalls right next to each other. At the foot of the waterfalls, you can enjoy a refreshing dip in the natural swimming pool. Sometimes you also see monkeys climbing around and even on the waterfall.

At the entrance, you receive a small bottle of water and a nice souvenir. The bottle of water is very welcome if you didn’t bring your own, because it is a short but steep and sometimes slippery descent to the entrance and another descent to the waterfall.
Practical
Entrance: 55.000 IDR
Parking: 2000 IDR
Daily: 8.00 am - 6.00 pm

7. Melanting Waterfall
The Melanting Waterfall is one of the most powerful waterfalls in the Munduk area. It is a 15-meter-high waterfall, surrounded by lush greens. Its location, close to the village of Munduk, makes it a very accessible one.
This waterfall is also one of the four waterfalls that you come along the Munduk Waterfall trek. So if you have the time, we recommend that you do not just the Melanting waterfall but the entire trek and visit all four waterfalls.
Practical
Entrance: 20.000 IDR
The ticket booth is open from 6.00 am - 6.00 pm, but we think the waterfall is accessible 24/7.

8. Banyu Wana Amertha
At the Banyua Wana Amertha, you do not find just one but four incredible waterfalls, each very different and unique. The biggest and, to our opinion, most impressive one is the Bhuana Sari waterfall. The Banyua Wana Amertha looks like a curtain of water over the rocks.

When you arrive, you first have to descend a trail until you come to a junction. Here, you can turn left towards the first two waterfalls, including the Banyu Wana Amertha. Then, you walk back to the junction and take the other trail until you reach the Bhuana Sari.
This place is still quite a hidden gem, so you will probably not encounter many tourists there. The entrance fee is slightly higher than the average waterfall, but you do get four for the price of one.
Practical
Entrance fee: 40.000 IDR
Daily: 7.00 am - 5.30 pm

9. Kanto Lampo
Kanto Lampo is one of the most famous Bali waterfalls of Ubud and maybe even on the whole island. It is a huge waterfall that looks like a big wall or curtain of water. You can swim in the natural pools below. Or you can climb on the rocks and take a shower in the natural spray of the waterfall. Be careful, as it might be very slippery! Because it is such a popular spot, we recommend visiting very early in the morning to avoid the crowds.
Practical
Entrance fee: 20.000 IDR
Daily: 6.30 am - 5.30 pm
